A blanket, warm socks, and a sweater for when San Antonio weather finally turns cooler are all necessities we just pull out of our closet. For so many in our community though, that’s just not an option. This December, MK Marlow Company helped to fill that void for a number of people by participating in the Young Act Association’s Winter Clothing Drive.
“Many people in San Antonio are lacking proper cold weather clothing,” explained Mark Marlow, CEO, MK Marlow Company. “We don’t always know why someone is in their situation, but thanks to Young Act Association, this year we are certain we have helped a number of individuals stay more comfortable.”
“As a new organization we are grateful for the corporate and employee donations from MK Marlow,” stated Marcela Cantu, YAA Board Member. “This is just the beginning of our help for individuals in our beautiful community, and we greatly appreciate the support.”
Items were distributed to recipients across San Antonio during the month of December.
