During the ABC Convention 2023 in Orlando, Florida, on March 16, MK Marlow Company was awarded the ABC National EIC Award for outstanding work on the Moody Center project. The EIC awards, presented to 82 of the nation’s top construction projects in 2022, are the construction industry’s leading national competition that honors general and specialty contractors for world-class, safe and innovative construction projects from across the country.
Todd Thomas and Ron Pentecost traveled to Florida to receive the award in person. “This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our skilled team members who consistently strive to deliver exceptional results for our clients,” said Todd Thomas, President of the Company. “The Moody Center project was a challenging undertaking, but we were able to rise to the occasion and exceed expectations. We are incredibly proud of this achievement and congratulate the entire team responsible.”

MK Marlow provided the interior and exterior framing, gypsum wall assemblies, and cold-formed metal framing, including the complete interior and exterior upper concourse CFMF support for the Prodema soffit panels. This premium venue situated on a small footprint of land, includes up to 15,000 seats, 44 suites, 4 premium club spaces and 2,000 club seats, and is a LEED Silver Certified project.
