CONRAC- Consolidated Rental Car Facility San Antonio International Airport

The $178 million Consolidated Rental Car facility (CONRAC) is the flagship project of the City of San Antonio Aviation and serves as a convenient, one-stop central parking and rental car service portal for travelers at the San Antonio International Airport. Overall project was the building of Rental Car Area Facilities, a Sky Bridge and Parking Structure.

One of the challenges of this project was the tie-in to the existing facility, which caused MK Marlow to work in occupied areas in and around the public. In order to mitigate both inconvenience and risk, MK Marlow coordinated detailed schedules for various aspects of the project. Additionally, specific crews were assigned night work in order to not disrupt the airports daily operations.

The facility consists of a 7-story, 1,570,316 gross square foot rental car center, and a 4-story quick turnaround area totaling 232,351 gross square feet.
