University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Inpatient Facility

The new Inpatient Facility is made up of a 144-bed hospital, medical office building and a 650-space parking garage. MK Marlow has provided the interior and exterior framing, gypsum wall assemblies, cold-formed metal framing and ceilings for the medical complex. The facility will house specialized equipment for various medical disciplines, including neurosciences, orthopedics, urology, thoracic surgery and bariatrics. Of note, is the completed pedestrian bridge linking the new hospital to UT Health San Antonio’s Mays Cancer Center.
